For best results we recommend a course of 8 treatments spaced 4-8 weeks to permanently reduce hair growth. We can only destroy hair follicles in the anagen (growth) stage. So, we spread out treatments to target all follicles and effectively remove your hair.

How does laser hair removal work?
The laser destroys the hair follicle, so it impairs the ability for it to grow more hair. Reducing hair growth.
For those of you that like the science. Here’s a bit more about our machine, which is the worlds first FDA approved Alexandrite and Nd:YAG Laser with ‘moveo’ technology. This new innovation works by delivering the Alexandrite laser at an ultra-high repetition rate, using a cooled sapphire tip which stays in contact with the skin. Dramatically reducing the energy that is typically reflected by the skin when using a standard Alexandrite laser. This, therefore, allows less energy to achieve the target temperature required for clinically effective, long-term hair removal results.
The laser gives out light energy, which is absorbed by the pigment in the hair, the melanin. It damages those follicles below the skin that are in the growth phase, preventing regrowth.
The hair follicles that get zapped and absorb the energy from the laser will be damaged. Then the hair from those follicles will fall out over the next few weeks. As the follicles are damaged this will impair future hair growth. Therefore, regrowth in the area will be thinner and lighter after a treatment. The next treatments will destroy the follicles that are in the growth phase at that time.
Can you treat all skin colours and hair types?
Almost every skin and hair type can be treated, providing there is enough pigment in the hair. This means laser is not suitable for grey/white hair because it has no melanin.
Can you treat any area of the body?
Yes we can. Legs, faces, bikini lines, under arms, anywhere you have hair you are not happy with and want to remove.
The only areas we cannot do are nostrils, the inside of your ear and your eyes.
Does laser hair removal hurt?
Not really. Our machine offers virtually pain free laser hair removal. As more of your hair follicles are destroyed the treatment becomes less painful.Treatment sensation varies from person to person and area to area. Our medically led team will always make sure you are comfortable throughout your treatment.
Is laser and IPL the same?
No, we only do laser. Our laser can treat nearly all hair and skin types. But IPL (Intense pulsed light) cannot treat lighter hair or darker skin tones. Laser is more precise. The heat is directed at the hair follicle not the skin. This means faster and more effective results – which is why we are all about laser.
Is laser hair removal safe?
Yes. We are CQC registered,and our team is medically led – your treatment will be done by a nurse or doctor. Safety is so important to us and that’s why we have chosen to use the safest machine on the market.
The treatment is very targeted. The light is selectively absorbed by melanin, the pigment in the hair follicle. The light energy heats the pigment and effectively destroys the hair follicle without damaging the surrounding cells.
How many treatments are required?
We recommend 8 treatments for best results. Those appointments will be spaced out with about 4-8 weeks in between. We appreciate this is a commitment and offer special pricing for a course of 8 treatments.
Why do I need multiple treatments?
We can only destroy follicles in the anagen stage - which is the hair growth phase. Hairs also have a catagen (resting) stage and telagen (shedding) stage. In any area some hairs will be resting, some shedding and some in that growth phase. We need to laser each hair in the area when it is in the growth phase so multiple treatments are needed to destroy all the follicles in that area. It’s about catching them at the right time.
How long will my appointments take?
Laser hair removal takes 10 to 60 minutes to perform depending on the size of the area we are treating.
What are the results?
