PLINEST™ is an injectable product designed to improve skin quality, appearance, and elasticity. It contains polynucleotides, which are clinically proven to stimulate collagen production and improve bio-regeneration of the patient’s skin.
How Polynucleotides-HPT work…
When we inject polynucleotides-HPT ™ into the skin, they reach the cells called fibroblasts.
Fibroblasts are responsible for the formation of connective tissue through their ability to produce collagen, which helps maintain the skin’s firm structure.
Our main focus for PLINEST™ at EK Clinic is treating the eye area and also to treat hair loss alongside PRP.
Polynucleotides are highly-purified DNA molecules of natural extraction produced in Sanremo, Italy.
Procedure Time
30 minutes
Pain/Anaesthetic
A numbing cream will be applied before the treatment. You may experience some mild discomfort.
Risks & Recovery
There’s a low risk of short-term bruising but no downtime required.Your skin maybe slightly red and swollen immediately after the procedure, there is a minimal risk of brusing.
Results
You’ll see results with just one treatment but these will continue to improve throughout your course, with best results seen a few weeks after your final session.

What is PLINEST™?
It is an injectable product designed to improve skin quality, appearance, and elasticity. It contains polynucleotides, which are clinically proven to stimulate collagen production and improve bio-regeneration of the skin.
Where does PLINEST™ treat?
We treat the eye area, not many treatments are suitable around the eye area but PLINEST® have developed a specific product to treat the eye and we are super excited to be able to offer it in clinic.
We also use PLINEST® to treat hair loss and this can be used inconjunction with our PRP treatment, read more about this here.
How many treatments will I need?
We recommend a course of 3 treatments, 14-21 days apart, to see optimal results.
How long do the results last?
After your course has finished, results are expected to last 6-9 months. Maintenance treatments are then advised.
Aftercare
Avoid touching the treated area for 6 hours after the treatment.
After that the area can be washed with a gentle cleanser.
Avoid make-up or cream on the treated area for 24 hours.
Avoid strenuous exercise and swimming to avoid risks of infection.
Avoid alcohol consumption for 24 hours before and after treatment.
Apply SPF50 for at least 7 days after your treatment.
Do not expose the treated area to intense heat (eg. Sauna, steam rooms, hot showers and sunbathing) or extreme cold.
