Profhilo® Body is an injectable Hyaluronic Acid which spreads throughout the skin causing stimulation of your own natural collagen and elastin, attracting water in the deeper layers of the skin, resulting in significant improvement of skin tissue and sagging skin. Specially designed for the improvement of skin laxity on the body, in particular the abdomen and inner arms it promotes the restoration of firmness, tone and elasticity of the skin.
In addition to the abdomen and inner arms, treatment areas include the neck, hands, knees and decolletage – any part of your body where the skin is showing those visible signs of ageing. The results, such as improved elasticity and firmness can last up to 6 months.

How does Profhilo® Body work?
We inject ultra-pure Hyaluronic Acid into the area being treated.
Profhilo® stimulates the skin cell receptors to counteract skin laxity and improve and restore firmness of the skin.
The Profhilo® treatment has a stimulation effect on the dermal cells and on collagen and elastin production. There is a slow release of Hyaluronic Acid resulting in a prolonged stimulation and attraction of more water (moisture) in the deeper layers of the skin.
This treatment includes the soothing and moisturising Figura body patch and at home cream. These reduce downtime and give tone, elasticity and deep hydration to the treated area.
How many treatments are required?
With your initial course, we recommended 2 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart. Then to maintain the beautiful results we normally advise 1 treatment every 6 months.

What does the procedure involve?
After a full consultation we will photograph the area being treated, prepare the skin and then the Profhilo® will be injected into the area using a very fine needle. This will be minimally painful and will only take around 10-15 minutes
What are the results?
Patients who have a Profhilo® Body treatment can expect to see increased hydration, firmness and improved elasticity of the skin in the treatment area. The results last up to 6 to 9 months.
